Never Do These Things. They Attract Robbers To Your House

Every year many people experience house attack or burglary worldwide and as a way of avoid being a victim, some individuals protect their homes with alarms, strong doors with complex locks, security cameras, LED lights, smart locks and high-tech security gadgets.

Although these are all important, there are some habits of homeowners that attract or draw burglars (home intruders or attackers).

Those habits can make thieves pick your house as a target and start to watch your home and are waiting for the right moment to make a move.

In this article, we are going to touch some habits of homeowners that draw home intruders.

The expensive items in your home are what thieves are interested in.

Because of this, you should never leave a box(packaging box) for the garbage workers that shows that you have bought a super expensive item because you are loaded.

The box could be a packaging box of expensive electronics such as a flat-screen television, gaming consoles, home appliances amongst others.

Leaving these things in your garbage only call for home attackers. So it is essential to think of a way to dispose of discreetly away from the prying eyes of thieves.

Tall trees, abundant bushes and dense shrubs located in your home can be hiding spots and escape routes for burglars (home intruders or attackers).

These landscapes do not only attract thieves but also make their invasion into your house easier. Speaking of this, you should consider changing your landscaping and keep your yard well-manicured especially your lawn (an area of soil-covered land planted with grasses and other durable plants) since it can be an indicator that you have not been in the house for a while.

Thieves are advancing just as technology is also advancing.

Nowadays another mistake homeowners make is posting everything on social media. If you do that burglars can trace your whereabouts without even visiting your house to see if you are there or not. You might probably be thinking that home-invading crimes mostly happen at night. But surprisingly, most of them also happened during the day. A significant reason for this is because during these periods thieves expect people to leave for work or school. So you better think twice before posting photos of you chilling with your family at the beach or sharing your weekend plans on social media.

When thieves plan to attack a home, it means that the house has or is suspected to have some valuables or it is profitable breaking into.

Your home can easily be marked as a target when you leave high-priced possessions around in the prying eyes of thieves.

Home intruders can calculate your level of wealth by just looking around your house or peering through the windows.

To keep your home safe, your expensive items should be out of sight. If possible hide them in your locker or safe.

Without expensive items around your home, it will be difficult for thieves to size up your home.

Since no thief does not want to run into a homeowner, they look for signs that homeowners are not around and one of them is light off (light off = Nobody home).

To keep your house safe each corner of your house should have lights on during the night especially the front. Even during the day, if an intruder attempts to break in the front door and sees the front light turn on, he will likely assume there is a homeowner still inside and will leave your home untouched.

As you work on these habits do not forget to keep your doors and windows locked until in use. Make sure your windows and doors have strong locks and are generally difficult to force open from the outside.

Now it is time to make your voice heard. What other homeowners’ behaviours attract burglars? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

If Police Say “You Are Under Arrest”, Tell Him This And Watch Him Go Speechless

Avatar

on

I have observed that whenever people see some policemen coming their way, they normally flee even though they haven’t committed any offenses.

It appears that many people do not know their rights or are afraid of being arrested.

Anytime a police come your way, never panic, be calm and watch him do his thing before you react.

Do you know that if you panics too much, you might be suspected and you might be arrested for nothing.

Whenever a police say “you are under arrest”, don’t panic if you know that you did nothing wrong, instead tell him these things and watch him go speechless.

Firstly, ask for his ID card to confirm whether he is really a police man or not. If he is able to present his ID card to you, ask him for the warrant of arrest. Without a warrant of arrest, a police is not allowed to arrest someone according to the law of this country.

If he was able to provide the warrant of arrest, ask him for the police station and make sure you alert the neighborhood before you are being taken there. You can also call your lawyer at that spot to notify him of what is happening.

After doing all these thing, you can go ahead to follow them but if not, don’t follow anybody to anywhere.
