Prez. Akufo Addo rescues collapsed Ayum Timber Company with GH₵ 1.2 Billion –

Ayum Timber, a Company sited at Mim, one of the biggest towns within the Ahafo Region which has gone through a lot of challenges during the leadership of former president John Dramani Mahama which caused over 9,000 job lost through mismanagement have been rescued by His Excellency Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo, the president of the republic.

Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie, who is the member of Parliament for the Area and doubles as the Ahafo Regional Minister has never relented on the come back of Ayum Timber Company.

The president through the Ministry of Trade and Industry under the able leadership of Hon. Alan John Kwadwo Kyeremateng has released GH₵ 1.2 billion to the company to clear the 4 years salary arrears of over 9,000 workers as part of the stimulus package provided by the government to revive Ayum Timber Company.

The workers were so happy for receiving their salary arrears for the past four (4) years,

The Ahafo Regional Minister emphasized that, under the stimulus package, all the machinery of the company will be taking care of including electricity, welfare of workers, retooling and all other things which are capable of reviving the company.

The Chief Executive Officer of Ayum, Mr Naja David used the opportunity to thank the president of the republic of Ghana, H. E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo for helping the company to work again.

The general secretary of Timber and Wood Workers Union, Mr Mark Ofori Asante commended the Ahafo Regional Minister, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie for his tireless effort of spearheading the revival of Ayum Timber Company.

The people of Ahafo Mim eulogized Hon. Bobie for his unprecedented effort and performance. Hundreds of them shouted on the top of their voices that, Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie really deserves another term of office as member of Parliament for Asunafo North Constituency.

Hon. Bobie advised the workers to be discipline in exercising their duties because, there is going to be proper monitoring at Ayum Timber Company.

In an exclusive encounter with the Paramount chief of Mim Traditional Council, Dr. Nana Okoforobour Yaw Adjei accepted this news in good faith, praised and encouraged Hon. Evans Opoku Bobie and the president of the republic.

Dr. Nana Okoforobour Yaw Adjei advised the workers to put in much effort to make Ayum the best company in the Country.

2.ATM : the full meaning is “Automated teller machine”

This gadget is usually accessible via an ATM card and this machine is used in processing monetary transactions.

3.POS : This common machine is often used everyday. And it simply means “Point of sale”.

It is a small tool that is used in processing debits and credits transactions with the use of an ATM card. The POS machine is designed with a small screen where transactions are monitored.

4.DATE: i am one hundred percent sure that most of us aren’t aware that DATE is an acronym which means “Day and time Evolution”.

5. NEWSPAPER : i can bet that high rate of us don’t know that the word “newspaper” is an abbreviation for “North, East, West, South Past and Present News”

6.Google : one of the most common searvh engines is “Global Organization of Oriented Group Language of Earth”

7.POLICE : This simply means ” Public officer for legal investigation and criminal Emergency ”

8.Sim card: Subscriber Identification Module

9.BYE : This word that we use on a daily basis is the abbreviated form of ” Be with you Everytime”

10. A. M : The full meaning is “Ante Meridiem”. The AM is used to describe the early hours of a day.

11.P.M : “Post Meridiem”. This is used to describe the late hours of the day.

Here Is The Reason Why Judges Destroy Their Pen In Court After Passing A Death Sentence




Correction is the major reason for making arrests or apprehending criminals, but it is quite unfortunate that some of these corrections means bringing the life of the offender to a stop.

This is particular with cases of Murder or treasonable offenses.

The death sentence is carried out in order to deter other citizens from treading the same path.

Many of us have not wondered how life would look like for judges who pronounce death penalty of law breakers.

They have been charged with that responsibility by the state, however it is not as straight forward for them as it seems.

It is so hard on them that they nib the pen used in passing such judgements.
